Rev. Fr. Zacharia Saribekyan Meets with His Grace Bishop Thomas Olmsted
Der Zacharia met with Bishop Thomas Olmsted of the Catholic Diocese of
Phoenix on Friday February 19. Present at the same meeting was Rev
Michael Diskin of the Roman Catholic Church of Phoenix. The three
clergymen spoke about Armenian Christianity, the Armenian Church, the
relationship of how hand to hand working together for our entire fellow
congregation is so similar. They were both apologetic for not being able to
attend consecration last year but congratulated the accomplishment. They
look forward to meeting His Eminence Archbishop Derderian and the
Armenian congregation in the near future.
