Hye Ways Annual literature program
Literature Program celebrating Cultural Month
immediately following Church service

This year’s Armenian Literature Afternoon will highlight the Consecration of St. Apkar Armenian Apostolic Church and the 200th Anniversary of the father of modern Armenian literature, Khachatur Abovyan.
A feature at the Armenian Literature Afternoon program will be “Home to Dome – Arizona Builds An Armenian Church”, a humorous and touching slide presentation of the history of the Arizona Parish and the efforts that led up to consecration day, narrated by Mr. Noubar Manoogian, a high school sophomore whose great uncle, His Beatitude Archbishop Torkom Manoogian, conducted the first Divine Liturgy in Arizona in 1963.
